About Golden Nugget
For almost seven decades, the Golden Nugget name has been synonymous with extraordinary gaming and unmatched entertainment. Nearly 70 years and four new locations later, the Golden Nugget ranks among the world's most respected and awarded casino concepts. Each location offers something unique, but all Golden Nugget locations are home to multiple Landry's restaurants, an exciting showroom, and of course, legendary gaming.
The first Golden Nugget opened its doors in Downtown Las Vegas in 1946. Located along the Fremont Street Experience, Golden Nugget Las Vegas has been a recipient of AAA's Four Diamond award consecutively since 1977, no other Nevada hotel comes close to earning that distinction. A second Golden Nugget location would open its doors along the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. The third Golden Nugget location opened in Atlantic City, on the Frank S. Farley Marina.
Golden Nugget's two newest locations found a home on the Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Lake Charles, Louisiana, with the Biloxi location, occupying the former home of the Isle Casino. Golden Nugget Lake Charles is a ground-up project, with 715 rooms, an 18-hole championship golf course, a private beach and marina, all-new casino floors and several award-winning Landry's Restaurants.
